Before Master Franklin could propose to Elizabeth, Ramzley, Master Franklin's butler, poisoned her because he believed that she only loved Franklin for his money and was going to take it from him. Ramzley made this act look like a suicide, to keep Master Franklin's trust. However, Master Franklin blamed himself for Elizabeth's "suicide", and ended up hanging himself in the mansion's attic, thus cursing the manor until the two lover's ghost marry. Ramzley is now hosting tours at the mansion.
